Another Working Week

Bula vinaka TCO's. Today Monday 24/09/07 begins another working week and it also happens to be the last week of September. Time is surely flying and it seems like it was only yesterday that we were celebrating the New Year (2007)!
While we blog on and continue with our daily lives and jobs, this in my view would also be a good time to reflect on the happenings of this year, reset our our compass, course and target as we approach the last three months of the year. We are indeed lucky to have come this far and we should be thankful to the Lord Almighty for his blessings!!
May you all have a God Blessed Day today and a Great Working Week ahead, and don't forget Friday, 28th is our meeting and the VENUE IS STILL TO BE CONFIRMED!

MESSAGE BOARD !

1. We will now have our next club meeting on the 28th September. The venue is still to be be decided. So guys, if someone wants to host, please let us know!

2. You guys who missed out on the Birthday Bash we had at the Tuamoto's last Saturday, we had a brief discussion about doing a similar thing for our Christmas Party as all of us who were there sort of liked the idea. You don't really have to go to an Island on a day cruise or to a beach to enjoy yourself. Hopefully, JT's offer of hosting the venue still stands. Further discussion to be held in our meeting. Neiba, this time we may have to help supply the 'cough mixture' as I'm sure there'll be plenty of coughing that day!

3. Osea's off to the States (Monday 17th) to attend a seminar on his business and we should wish him luck and hopefully he'll come back more revitalized.

4. Last but not least, our finances - for those of us who still owe money to the club, please make an effort to settle asap and those who were guarantors to outside loans, please follow up. Remember, you are responsible!!

This blog site is dedicated to a group of friends who used to sit and share bowls of grog after work day in and day out.
We are The Chosen Ones Social Club, we've been around since 2005 and most of us reside in Nadi, Fiji Islands. Some of our founding member friends have moved on either finding new employment in other parts of the country and or overseas and there were also those who just left may be because they wanted something which our club could not give them.
We have simple goals and ideals in life and they include working for the betterment of our families and country, better education and brighter future for our children and of course spending quality times with our families.
We are a close knit club and enjoy each others company very much. We've had several family get together or Family Days and also celebrate each members birthdays whenever and wherever possible.
